A second round of bomb threats has hit flights across Europe this week, with at least 14 aircraft affected on Thursday. A Ryanair service from Stansted to Sofia was diverted to Plovdiv, while an Aer Lingus jet from Dublin landed at a French air base. No explosives were found anywhere. Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander called the threats malicious hoaxes but said they were taken seriously.
