Russian missile strikes kill eight people in Kyiv region

Overnight Russian missile strikes killed at least eight people and injured 33 in Ukraine's capital Kyiv and the surrounding area on Thursday. Apartment blocks, warehouses, a children's hospital, and a school were hit in the "massive attack", according to Ukrainian authorities. Meanwhile, a Russian drone crossed into Romanian airspace, causing a small fire in an uninhabited area, and Poland began defensive air operations.
