Russian missile and drone strikes kill 17 in Kyiv

Russian ballistic missile and drone assaults on Wednesday resulted in a minimum of 17 fatalities and 27 to 44 injuries throughout Kyiv and its adjacent areas. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, additional US-manufactured Patriot interceptors could have prevented casualties, given that 98 drones were intercepted but no missiles were. Russia's defence ministry claimed it hit military logistics and supply centres in the area.
