Russia frees ailing US Marine Robert Gilman after Trump-Putin talks

Former US Marine Robert Gilman, 32, has been released from a Russian prison on humanitarian grounds after four years, following discussions between Presidents Trump and Putin. Gilman's family and US officials alleged he suffered abusive treatment, leaving him in a life-threatening condition. He has now departed for the US by air and is due to arrive at a military hospital in Texas for assessment.
