Russia bans only anti-war party from next month's election

Russia's only liberal, anti-war party, Yabloko, has been barred from taking part in next month's parliamentary elections by a Moscow court. The Rodina party, a pro-Kremlin nationalist group, brought the case, accusing Yabloko of supporting an extremist organisation and copyright infringement. The decision comes as disagreement about the war in Ukraine increases, with Yabloko's support reportedly surging.
