Cristiano Ronaldo has called for lifetime bans for supporters who directed chants referencing Diogo Jota towards Ruben Neves during a Saudi Pro League game. Jota passed away in a car accident on July 3, 2025, with Neves serving as one of the pallbearers at the service. Both Al-Hilal and Al-Taawoun clubs have condemned the chants and are taking action.
