Reform UK deputy leader defends suspending an activist who criticised Nigel Farage

Tim Montgomerie, a former Tory defector, was suspended after asking why Nigel Farage skipped his own Clacton byelection tally. Richard Tice, the party's deputy, argued that internal debates belong in private during a north London press conference. He and education spokesperson Suella Braverman pitched an up to £2bn plan to fund teenage apprenticeships by cutting financial support for overseas students and less valuable university courses.
