Reform UK councils deploy private security near asylum centres
Reform UK-led Essex County Council has started private security patrols in three towns near a large asylum accommodation centre. For a three-month trial, six trained guards are to provide patrols across Braintree, Colchester, and Chelmsford daily. Dubbed Operation Vanguard, this initiative directly addresses worries expressed by residents regarding anti-social behaviour attributed to male migrants.
