Prime Minister Andy Burnham's father Roy has died

Andy Burnham's father Roy has died, and the Prime Minister has cleared his diary for Monday and Tuesday. Roy Burnham had Alzheimer's and lived in a care home, and in July his son said he did not know he was about to become Prime Minister. Burnham has repeatedly drawn on his father's illness in promising to reform the adult social care system.
