Real Madrid parts with Alonso; faces Villarreal next
Xabi Alonso has left his post as Real Madrid's first-team coach, the club stated. Both parties agreed to the separation. Real Madrid, established in 1902, thanked Alonso for his service. The Spanish team, holders of 15 Champions League titles and 36 La Liga wins, are now gearing up to play Villarreal. Arbeloa stressed that they must perform well to win this important La Liga fixture.
