RAF Typhoons launched to intercept Qatar Airways flight

RAF Typhoons were scrambled from Lincolnshire on Thursday after a Qatar Airways flight travelling to Manchester Airport caused concern. The Ministry of Defence announced that the jets launched from RAF Coningsby as part of a Quick Reaction Alert. The incident was resolved, and the passenger plane landed safely at 7:45 PM BST.
