Qantas jet completes record 24-hour non-stop flight to France

A Qantas Airbus A350 completed a 24-hour, 24-minute journey from Melbourne, arriving in Toulouse on Tuesday and establishing a new record for the longest commercial flight. The journey is part of Qantas's Project Sunrise, aiming for non-stop flights from Australia to London and New York from 2027. The specially adapted A350-1000ULR aircraft, which has an extra fuel tank, covered 23,075km (14,338 miles) without stopping.
