President Trump Didn't Consult Allies on Iran War
A lack of diplomatic engagement before military action can mean less international understanding and support for US strategy. President Trump's administration offered little consultation for its war on Iran, not informing European or regional allies. In 2003, for instance, the Bush administration consulted allies extensively about the Iraq war.
