President Trump believes Greenland will be US-controlled before his term ends

President Trump has again stated his belief that Greenland is vital for US national security and should be controlled by America. He has previously threatened tariffs on European countries, including the UK, for not supporting his acquisition plan. Denmark and Greenland have consistently rejected any offers to purchase or annex the island, which is a self-governing territory of Denmark.
