Police shooting in Thetford under investigation after crash

Following a fatal police shooting in Thetford, the IOPC has begun an inquiry. Norfolk Police responded to a two-car crash on London Road at 8:25 pm Sunday. Reports indicated a man, aged in his sixties, had a handgun. Witnesses saw him leaving the crash site. Armed officers chased the man, who was then shot near the A11. Police discharged two shots, resulting in his death.
