A civil servant accused of holding five full-time public sector jobs at once has told a jury he made mistakes but had no criminal intent. Kashim Chowdhury, 55, from east London, denies nine counts of fraud at Southwark Crown Court. Prosecutors say he earned over £284,000, at one point being contracted for 183 hours a week. He says some managers knew about his other jobs.
