Pilot survives after Turkish military F-16 crashes during a training flight

The military plane went down on Wednesday in Yalova, a province located in the northwest of the country. Turkey's defence ministry confirmed that the person flying the aircraft managed to eject before the crash and safely survived. Footage broadcast by local news outlets showed thick dark smoke pouring upward from a field following the accident.
