All three districts of Thailand's major tourist island, including Phuket City, were impacted by the severe weather. By late morning, water levels began to fall, though around 100 households in several low-lying areas were still impacted by flooding. Further heavy rain and landslides are forecast by the Thai Meteorological Department to continue until Wednesday.
