Oil falls to $89 a barrel as 39 tankers safely enter Red Sea
Brent crude slipped to $89.45 a barrel on Thursday, even as the conflict between the US and Iran escalated. Recent data shows 39 supply vessels safely entered the Red Sea on Tuesday, bypassing the largely blocked Strait of Hormuz. The oil continues to flow despite Iran attacking three tankers and American and Saudi forces bombing Iran-backed groups in Iraq.
