Oil and diesel prices jump as Trump's deadline approaches

Brent Crude rose 2.1% to $114.37 a barrel on Monday after Trump threatened to destroy Iranian power plants and bridges. US WTI oil hit $111.12 a barrel, while London diesel futures jumped 5.7% to their highest level since the war began. The diesel benchmark has now risen 108% since before the conflict started.
