State media on Monday released photos of Kim inspecting children's shoes and women's outerwear at a clothing and shoe exhibition, but no independent verification of their authenticity or date of capture has emerged. These images surfaced mere hours following a Sunday claim on X by Wanjun Xie, a US-based Chinese dissident associated with the China Democracy Party, alleging Kim's death.
