North Korea launches over 10 ballistic missiles during allied military drills
The weapons travelled roughly 300 kilometres before splashing down in waters beyond Japan's exclusive economic zone. South Korean officials called a crisis meeting on Thursday to condemn the test, which took place alongside joint military exercises with America. Donald Trump recently ordered a scale-back of those exercises, hoping to restart negotiations with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
