Nigel Farage contests Clacton by-election as local voters lose faith

Nigel Farage’s approval rating is now at its lowest since the 2024 general election, with many Clacton voters saying he hasn't delivered on promises. He triggered the by-election himself due to media scrutiny, a move Labour called a “political tantrum.” Some locals feel the by-election is a waste of money and haven't seen Farage much in the area.
