Next year's Artemis III mission will practice docking
The upcoming Artemis III mission aims to reduce future landing risks by testing vital procedures closer to home. NASA plans for yet-to-be-named astronauts to practise connecting their Orion module with lunar landers in orbit around Earth next year. This crucial docking mechanism, designed for the at-home test, is already at Florida's Kennedy Space Centre.
