Britain's Sonay Kartal lost the Wuhan Open final 2-6 6-4 6-2 to Poland's Maja Chwalinska, missing the biggest title of her career. The 24-year-old, ranked 170th at the start of the tournament after six months out with a back injury, won the first set and led in the second.
