New treadmill therapy helps patients process past trauma in weeks

A new psychotherapy, called 3MDR, has shown great promise in treating PTSD by having patients walk on a treadmill. It involves people viewing self-selected images and music related to their past trauma. Researchers say they've seen significant improvements in weeks that might otherwise take years, with patients remaining better for at least a year.
