Netanyahu reveals Israel holds 'solid, deeper security zone' inside southern Lebanon
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel now holds a 'solid, deeper security zone' inside southern Lebanon, one day before Israeli and Lebanese officials are set to begin direct talks in Washington. An Israeli military official said the army's focus has shifted to Lebanon during the two-week ceasefire with Iran. EU Commission President von der Leyen warned there can be no regional stability while Lebanon remains under bombardment.
