NATO jets intercepted Russian warfare drone over Balvi, Latvia, on Friday

A Russian warfare drone incursion into NATO airspace is the latest in a series along its eastern side since Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Latvian forces said on Friday the drone entered their airspace due to "Russian electromagnetic warfare" and was intercepted over Balvi. NATO allies discussed these incidents on Wednesday, reiterating Russia's full responsibility.
