Multiple explosions and thick smoke reported in Dubai's Jebel Ali area
Witnesses in Dubai reported hearing between four and seven loud bangs and seeing huge smoke early on Wednesday. The explosions occurred in the Jebel Ali industrial area, about 25 miles southwest of Dubai city centre. While officials have not confirmed the cause, some reports suggest an industrial accident at a gas storage facility, while Iranian media claims Yemeni Houthis are responsible.
