MPs accepted nearly £400,000 in free hospitality this year, report finds
MPs have taken almost £400,000 worth of free tickets and hospitality this year, despite previous public concern over such gifts. Hospitality from groups such as PRS for Music and Lloyds Banking Group was declared by Labour frontbenchers Louise Haigh, Lucy Powell, and Wes Streeting. Transparency International UK warns MPs should consider why such invitations are offered and what the public will think.
