Morocco captain Hakimi to stand trial for rape

Morocco captain Achraf Hakimi will stand trial for rape, confirmed by French prosecutors after a three-year legal process. A woman accused the Paris St-Germain defender of raping her at his home in the French capital in 2023, which he consistently denies. An investigating judge ordered the trial in February 2026, but a date for it has not yet been set.
