Missing 18-year-old hiker Lily Hooper found dead in Australia

The body of 18-year-old Lily Hooper was found on Thursday in dense vegetation in Nattai National Park, New South Wales, after an eight-day search. There was initial confusion after the state premier and local media incorrectly reported she had been found alive. Police apologised for the miscommunication, which occurred between eight and 10 minutes before her parents were given an updated report.
