Migrants Earning Over £125,000 Can Settle in UK After Three Years

Migrants earning over £125,000 will be able to apply for settlement in the UK after just three years, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood told MPs. She said top-rate taxpayers would pay around £1.5m in tax over their lifetime, funding services the poorest rely on. The faster route rewards 'exceptional' contributions, while a five-year path stays open for people earning over £50,000 and healthcare and education workers.
