Michigan reports nation's first two deaths from Cyclospora outbreak

Two people with underlying health conditions in Michigan have died in the first US fatalities linked to the parasite. On Monday, officials at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services made public the fatalities during a broad epidemic across the country involving more than 20,000 individuals. Taco Bell outlets provided tainted lettuce that federal agents have connected to a portion of the disease wave.
