Haley Stevens, a Michigan Democrat who lost her party's Senate primary, has switched her endorsement to Republican Mike Rogers just two days before Tuesday's US midterm elections. Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer called it a despicable betrayal and Michigan Democrats said she is no longer a party member. Stevens said she changed her mind after rival Abdul El-Sayed made her feel unwelcome in his campaign.
