A Wizz Air flight from London Luton to Sofia made an emergency landing in Budapest on Monday after a bomb threat was received mid-air. Hungary scrambled a Gripen fighter jet to escort the plane down safely. Authorities checked the aircraft and passengers at a remote stand and found nothing suspicious. The airline said it was cooperating fully and the flight would continue to Bulgaria shortly.
