Merseyside Police arrest 66 people in major crime operation
Operation Vanguard, Merseyside's biggest operation yet, saw over 300 police officers carry out 45 warrants across all Merseyside boroughs on Thursday. Officers seized weapons, drugs, and £60,000 in cash, alongside an estimated £500,000 worth of suspected stolen designer goods. Those arrested face charges for serious offences including rape, drug dealing, and sexual communication with a child.
