Man jailed for four years over fake NHS degrees

Amran Hussain, 40, received a four-year prison sentence on Friday, having confessed to fraud offences that led to a taxpayer loss of almost £170,000. He secured 13 NHS jobs by falsely claiming he had attended Oxford University and held senior health service posts. Investigators found he applied for over 2,000 NHS roles, often doing little work before his contract ended.
