Man admits stalking UnitedHealthcare CEO before shooting him dead

Luigi Mangione pleaded guilty to federal stalking charges in a Manhattan court on Friday, admitting he intended to kill Brian Thompson. He confessed to researching the CEO and conference venue, posing as an investor to get information before the December 2024 shooting. Mangione now faces a possible life sentence for the federal charges, which dismissed earlier murder and weapons offences.
