Man, 35, charged with assisting offender after Nottingham officer shot

Nottinghamshire Police reported that PC Lee Lane sustained a gunshot wound to the foot and remains hospitalised after encountering two individuals. On Monday, Jahmal Ruddock-Senior, a 35-year-old Bulwell resident, is scheduled to attend Nottingham Magistrates Court. Firearms charges were brought against Aisha Zaman, 27, of Hyson Green, on Thursday, and she was held in custody.
