Jet2 Plane Slides Off Birmingham Airport Runway in Storm Boelo
A Jet2 passenger plane briefly slid off the runway onto grass after landing at Birmingham Airport as Storm Boelo brought powerful gusts. Flight LS1310 from Venice veered off on Sunday afternoon, but the crew quickly steered it back and taxied to its stand. Jet2 blamed exceptional weather conditions and said everyone on board got off normally. Video of the dramatic landing has spread widely online.
