Liverpool fire Arne Slot after disappointing season

Arne Slot is out as Liverpool manager after a really disappointing second season where they finished fifth in the Premier League. Owners Fenway Sports Group decided to cut ties with Slot following a post-season review, even though he still had a year left. Andoni Iraola, who recently left Bournemouth, is now Liverpool's top target to take over the team.
