Liechtenstein changes royal succession to allow women to rule
Liechtenstein's royal family announced on its national day that women can now inherit the throne, a shift from male primogeniture to absolute primogeniture. Hereditary Prince Alois said the change, approved by family members on Wednesday, will apply to descendants of his four children. The tiny country, with a population of about 40,000, is located between Switzerland and Austria.
