Leonardo Helicopters says up to 75 jobs could go at its Yeovil factory after a final assembly line restructure, months after a £1 billion Ministry of Defence deal for 23 medium helicopters. The firm blamed a short-term workload gap despite recent orders and said it will try to redeploy or retrain staff. Apprentices and graduates are unaffected. The Ministry of Defence was asked for comment.
