London to see rare partial lunar eclipse on Friday morning

The Moon will appear bigger and take on a reddish glow, nicknamed the "Blood Moon", as it passes through Earth's shadow. The partial eclipse starts at 03:33 BST on Friday 28 August in London, reaching its maximum at 05:12 BST. Around 90% to 93% of the Moon will be covered, but cloud and light rain are forecast for London.
