Jimmy Anderson Set for Surrey After Lancashire Exit

England's record Test wicket-taker Jimmy Anderson, aged 44, is in advanced talks to join Surrey for the 2027 County Championship after Lancashire ended his 25-year Old Trafford career. Surrey have now tabled a contract and grow confident he will also take a Division One swansong at The Oval after he took 50 wickets last season. Nottinghamshire are monitoring, while Anderson has already ruled out Yorkshire.
