Arsenal Teen Max Dowman Gets England U21 Call-Up

Arsenal teenager Max Dowman has earned his first England under-21 call-up for November friendlies against Portugal and France in Bristol. Young Lions coach Lee Carsley named a 24-man squad, also giving a first under-21 chance to Norwich forward Jovon Makama. The Ashton Gate games on 13 and 16 November prepare England for next summer's UEFA Under-21 European Championship title defence bid.
