Jared Kushner met Hamas chief Sunday to restart Gaza peace plan

Donald Trump's envoy Jared Kushner held rare talks with Hamas's political chief Khalil al-Hayya in Egypt on Sunday, trying to restart a stalled Gaza ceasefire plan. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the US-backed 15-point roadmap last week, which calls for Hamas to disarm and Israeli troops to withdraw. Kushner is expected to meet Netanyahu on Monday, alongside former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair.
