Israel charges settler over Palestinian activist's killing

Israeli prosecutors charged a settler on Thursday over the July 2025 killing of Palestinian activist Odeh Hadalin in the West Bank. Hadalin had featured in the Oscar-winning film No Other Land, and the accused settler was earlier released to house arrest. Rights groups have long said Israeli authorities rarely prosecute settlers for violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
