Iran denies holding talks with Washington over the blocked strait
Earlier, Donald Trump publicly asserted that both governments had already agreed on terms to unlock the closed trade route. Esmaeil Baghaei, the foreign ministry spokesperson, insisted Tehran is only speaking with Oman to arrange temporary secure passage. He warned that a separate pact with Oman alone won't suffice while American military hostility persists.
